All of the Offensive Miniatures US paratroopers - swapped for Foundry ACW figs.
They are an interesting mix. About 1/3 are perfect miniature men, almost scale models rather than 'gaming' figures. The next 1/3 are good but have slightly awkward poses, nothing that you'd notice when painted. The last 1/3 (possibly a bit less) are definitely awkward. Too short in the legs or too long in the body and definitely un-naturally posed. I'm not too worried because they can be reworked with little fuss to correct any real excesses but they definitely stand out.
I'm not sure what the circumstances were, but I can imagine that the sculptor might have had a pretty serious deadline on these. As I've mentioned, however, the best of them are outstanding!
Oh ... and the BAR gunners are a complete waste of metal unfortunatley

. I wish that manufacturers wouldn't include them in US paratroop units (especially for Normandy-clad troops). One minor equipment note too. There are lots of bandage packs strapped to helmets here. If you are doing the 101st then you might be interested to know that this practice was banned because it was believed to increase the soldiers silhouette. They can easily be removed or alternatively it looks as if the 82nd wore them quite a bit.
In short- recommended but try to see what you are buying. The current 'squad' packs are not very friendly in this regard and I hope that they will adopt a 'four to a pack' approach sooner or later. I'd definitely get more.
