I got my Combat Stress Charity figure today. Nice sculpt. I got two of them. One might end up as a statue maybe somewhere in France to commemorate the fallen British soldiers of WWI. The other i'd like to build into a little diorama I have in mind.

Some goodies from Hot Lead in Stratford Ontario today. Smaller than Salute, but a top notch gaming event.

- 2 Packages of Yeti Hunters from West Wind (excellent for VSF Ghurkas)
- Some Vampire wars hounds and handlers (only a buck!)
- One Colonel Edward Tichner from Reaper Chronoscope
- A games day Chaos champion from a few years ago - the one with the wood elf dangling in the air -  Anyone interested? Not my cup of tea anymore, but it was a price that I couldn't refuse.

And last but not least, the excellent Horace "Action" Jackson from Chronoscope. Love this figure. Can't wait to paint him up, once I figure out a paint scheme.

Excellent show. Enjoyed seeing Sterling Moose and Ricco in the flesh again.

15 BTD Doctor Who minis very cheap from eBay. A right old mixed bag - half of the First Doctor's companions, the baddies from Talons of Weng Chiang (very happy with those!), and various minor one-off characters. Oh, and Leela in her leather leotard...

Back from Triples having parted with cash with these vendors (in the order I found them)

Black Scorpion, Iron Clad, Gripping Beast, Redoubt & Museum.

I'd tell you what they were but if I did I would have to kill you - LPL you see ;D

Spent twice what I intended but hey it was my birthday on Friday. :D

Recieved a little parcel from Gripping Beast : the 2 TWDC special sets and a Moor leader. A little flash on the Moor (old mold ?) but the others are wonderful figs  :-* (Bill's sculpts are little bit taller than Soapy's though  ;) )

Got the Beaverette with two crew from Stronghold.  Thought this might be fun for a "very British Civil War" group.

Didn't have any problems with mine, despite his interesting "homeless" status.  He sent a sample of his Japanese infantry as well.  Wish he'd finish the command group.   :(

Both sets of Studio Miniatures zombies and Cole - absolutely beautiful, if a little small (I'm always surprised how small true 28s are) - a few of the more sticky-out parts were bent, but easily fixed.

Also, some freebies from the front of various magazines from a venture to the newsagents at lunchtime (some 1/72 US paras and a 15mm... something, on a horse, iirc)

A large assortment of CTV (Italian troops) for the Spanish Civil War. Anglian miniatures, via Brigade. These are easily the most beautiful SCW miniatures I've seen in the flesh. They paint up beautifully, and easily. Remind me very positively of another favorite range, Bob Murch's Pulp Miniatures. (Although, to be quite frank, Lon's own ranges are pretty smashing too.)

My only objection is that not all of the Anglian stuff is currently carried stateside, which is a real downer, as some of the Anglian vehicles are just absolutely perfect!

I've also acquired the Brigade Games Ford Armored Car for ACW 1935, and the Force of Arms CV33 for the SCW. Both beautifully cast pieces. The Ford is a bit fiddly to put together, and could use some instructions. The CV33 has no instructions, but for better or worse I'm intimately familiar with the vehicle, so, it was a breeze to put together. A nice thing with both models is that they have clear guide holes, and areas to line up tracks, accessories, etc, which is a great leap forward for resin stuff.

I would dearly like to get my hands on that massive Somua Naval truck from Nigel, and I may just order direct from the UK to get it.

Also, got the fantastic Vickers Medium from Copplestone. What a beaut, as expected from Mark. And fast as lightning, too! Will be using this for ACW 1935 when I get round to painting my constitutionalists.
