Hi Kids, Received some Laughing Monk figs yesterday from Shadowforge in Australia, and I gotta tell ya, these are some of the cleanest figs I've ever seen!  They tend to be a little tall, but I'm really glad I got 'em.

Doesn't everyone need a Bruce Campbell-esk Zombie Hunter with chainsaw & shotgun?

Bruce Campbell? I though Shadowforge just made scantilly dressed gals from various eras.

Today, I received the Copplestone Castings miniatures which I ordered last Saturday.

  • Neo-Soviet:Partisans 1&2, Regulars 1&2, Specialists.
  • Hunter Aliens.
  • German Marines, German Officers and DOAG Askaris

Splendid service, and even included a hand-written "thanks for shopping" note. I´m sure that one is included in all orders (or at least larger ones), but it´s still a very nice touch.

ZULUS!

Fahsends of them!

Well - 24 actually. Just to test the water - since Foundry were kind enough to just send me a 20% discount voucher, which cancelled out the crazy postage charge.

And I tell you what, they might be Copplestone retreads, but they are bloody lovely. A few will move straight to the front of the painting queue. Watch this space  ;)

Another bundle of joy from copplestone:

Glory of the sun
- 1 x Dutch Musketeers at the ready
- 1 x Dutch unarmoured pikemen
- 1 x pk of pikes

Really nice sculpts as expected, a little taller than i imagined, more 30mm i think.
I was really surprised with pikes, very nicely made with excelent point, worth the money in my opinion!

Sash and Saber 40 mm AWI. British lights and Coammand, Hessian Jaegers and Command, Infantry in Roundabouts uniforms and Roundhat and Grasshopper gun.

Beautiful miniatures an I can't wait to paint them.

Best wishes,

A resounding shout out to First Lady Helen who has sent the a prodigiously heavy parcel of sepoys all the way from Australia. Besides the very nicely painted squad of Sikhs, I was particularly thrilled to see one Pontonier gurkha which I don't think is available to the public yet. I am forever in you dept, ma'am!

Thank you Peder, I don't know about the well painted Sikhs as they are YUCK! compared to what I paint now.

The Gurkha was a sample sent by Ben many moons ago. I do believe they are available for sale if you can catch Ben at a show.

Peder, did you like Saladin? I hope you like all the other bits and bobs too.

I liked them all, H. All those SMLEs were a welcome surprise to. Very generous. The frog officer, is he from the Krim era?

Hi P,

He is a Crusader miniature figure based on AFAIK the French artist Alphonse-Marie-Adolphe de Neuville. I'm using one for my WW1 French army.

I hope everything will find a home in your collection.

Two packs of Mr Copplestone's Watuta Warriors, should make a nice unit or two for Darkest Africa and pulp gaming.
