Just received Great war Crimean British command. They are not as large as their WW1 range, in my opinion. Nice figures, although some are spoiled by mould lines. Also received Front Rank late 17th figures yesterday, these are in a different league.  THE CID.

Convention in Lille today, which wielded me a huge bag of heroclix from the second hand shop (about 60 models for 15 euros), a range of chinese warriors I have no idea from how its called (due to not being able to speak chinese) including 2 mounted characters from a local french trader, and a heap of 6 to 15mm scenery bits and bobs

Some Black Army Productions figures and I'm really impressed with this batch. The first few were a bit smallish and of mixed quality (though all very usable), but these are wonderful figures up there with Artizan, Pulp Figures or the better Paul Hicks sculpts, both in terms of quality and size.
The ventriloquist has two dummies to choose from (the second one will make a nice decorative accessory). The three Japanese figures will make great characters in my Weird War II Japanese force.  8)

Two of Tobsen's blimps with gunners and maxims just came in - I already have two different gasbags with Imperial German crowns in place already to replace the gasbags provided.  Very nice casts for a project in the works for over three years.  Major Weenie if you see this (secret Bengal Club handshake) this goes back to the Germans/Mexicans with kepis (similar to German police) that you sold me maybe 4 years ago. Now I have to start work on the double Zeppelin transport.

Warped Slaine from Foundry! Just  :o :-* :D gorgeous!

Danu, a Spear Champion whose name escapes me, and Aubrec's Chariot from Celtos as well.

The Slaine/Cuchulainn Project continues! Ganesha Games has promised a stand-alone Celtic Myth Song of.. game for 2011, so I plan to be fully painted by then!
