A new box of French Rev / Napoleonic goodies from Rob at Eureka USA. Ordered Friday afternoon and received Monday! Pretty damned fast! I got the new Austrian handlangers and a pair of guns for them to man handle, cheveauxleger at rest, and enough French fusiliers in firing line to make up my next regiment.

I also picked up a couple of 15/18mm AB Napoleonics to check them out. They are stunningly beautiful. I don't know how they managed to pack that much detail in.

Ironclad makes great stuff... but when it comes to ordering stuff over the net, their service sucks.

Ironcladman is a nice enough guy.

I have ordered from him only once (3 packs of infantry and 1 steam tank), but it took over a month to get and I was missing the stack for the tank when it did come.

I want to order more... but over a month for delivery...

And for us non-island dwellers, there's a delivery time for at least one month nowadays.

Indeed, add in the Spanish Mail and you have a disaster on your hands... 

However, in my case the problem was that the tank I ordered was not available.  Perhaps adding an "in stock" feature to his site might do the trick.

As I said, I love the minis and the tank, and I was planning to buy a whole lot more.  But the time it took to get the order put me off so badly, I doubt if I will order from him again unless I have some indication that the stuff he offers is available to buy.

In hindsight, I apologize for hijacking this thread which is not meant for critiquing manufacturers but for posting folks "Latest mini received."

All boos and woes apart on the company, I really like their models and comming from a country where `online shopping` has only just outgrown it`s child shoes (hell, only since this year we can `pump up` paypal straight from the bank accounts) I don`t even bother it takes that time.
