I don't usually go into Games Workshop, but I was at the right mall and was walking by and realized that they were having a flea market! on the main gaming tables so I went in and had a look. Apparently the idea was that you bring in your olds games workshop products and sell them for gift certificates. A weird and wonderful idea, wish they had done stuff like that when I was actually playing 40k.... I didn't pick much up other than a new bloodbowl troll for $5. That made me smile. And I just handed the guy cash which he gratefully accepted.

Wow! We don't get that over here.......... >:( I remember the days of GW sales, they were great!

Oh, and I recieved the Plastic Soldier 28mm Russians this morning (only ordered them on Wednesday afternoon).

Oh, and I recieved the Plastic Soldier 28mm Russians this morning (only ordered them on Wednesday afternoon).

So, are they compatible with the normal 'chunky' 28 mm stuff, or are they more 'true scale' or upscaled 1/72 minis (like HäT's 28mms)?
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

The Bolt Action Minis hard plastic Late War WW2 German Infantry. Early Birthday present from my sis. Very nice figures, I can't do them justice in assembling them, but I'll be able to paint them well enough! LOL! And talk about weapons! WOW!

Twenty 40mm figures and a couple of accessory packs by Trident Designs, thanks to Doug at Miniature Service Center in California.  All Americans (not that I'm supporting those revolting colonists, I'm just not in the mood for red at the moment) and Hessians this time.  Much nicer figures in the hand than they may appear on the website (which seems to be down with server problems, again, at the moment).  Good clean castings for the most part, particularly the one-piece figures, with just a bit of tidying up to do, mainly on the weapons.  I may actually force myself to get some of these painted up.  At least I didn't order a Hessian standard bearer for the first go-around!

Not much, £6.99 I think. Mongoose had a remaindered stock sale on last month and had a few going amidst the graphic novels.

Its nice, if not the smoothest cast, and I had to wait nearly a month for the bloody thing... still, will be a useful adition to the crew.
