Two boxes of Perry Mercenaries (they seem to have thrown one box in for free - which is very nice of them) plus the three metal cavalry packs of 'scurrers'  :)

So I know what I'm going to be doing over Christmas and New Year!

But think what they're getting out of it: Some of the best and cheapest advertising for their product they could possibly hope for.

Plynkes is right. I suspect I'm not the only one who impulsively bought a box after seeing your post here.

Well, that's nice of you to say so, but I'm not so sure.
The Perrys have never shown the slightest interest in my painted versions of their products at all, and even if they did, they're very unlikely to have connected my actual name and address with the online persona 'Captain Blood'...  I certainly gave them no reason to do so... ::)  :D

More likely, I think, that they've had my pre-order for months, and the extra box was a thanks / sorry for keeping me waiting? Either that, or they just made a cock-up and packed two instead of one!

Either way - I'm happy!  :)

I would normally ask why you do not return or offer to pay for the additional goods? Cock up or thank you gesture as it stands it is just theft :o

I say normally because on the two previous occasions this has happened to me, I have gone to the trouble of contacting the vendor, returning their goods at my own cost and almost got a thank you in return >:(

Absolutely brilliant miniatures, cleanly cast and delivered with exceptional service.

Well chuffed. :D

A win-win-win situation. Richard gets free toys, Perrys free advertisement and we get to see Richard paint them. Wooo!
