64 minis in all to add to the lead mound!

3 Wotc Golan laser turrets arrived this morning.

a little on the big side for WEG, but they will do, and much cheaper than the alternatives - ie Micro Collection...

Have to agree, i might cut the lower lip off of mine, bring them down a touch.

Have my own Ion Cannon planned though, much more in scale to the film shots.

Yeah, but I figured for a tabletop model, the micro collection ion cannon would be fine. Along with the generator and the various micro colelction turrets, I should be able to put together a nice little battlefield.

I might just build up the lip of the terrain around them, in the same way i'm doing with the building templates for teh Battlefiled boards.

For £3 a go though, they are good value - the Micro Collection ones that Seb has, are probably more in scale, but work out c£15-20 a go, by the time you factor in postage from the States.

Now the really good news for me is that these where paid for LAST year and do not go onto the bought this year count 

I also got a box of the new GW Hellions as a late Christmas 'pheasant' - love these but not interested in the 40K game but will enjoy building one or two up.  Also not purchased by myself so not added (well OK - I'll put a foot note in)
