The other day I also managed to complete my set of old Citadel harpies, the ones sculpted by Bob Olley in the late 80s. Ronnie, Nancy and Maggie fly together again!

A whole horde of White Russians, 28mm from Brigade Games.

The exact figure count of the order is fifty-some figures, a few mounted figures, a batch of officer/NCOs/standardbearers on foot, a Maxim HMG, and a whole horde of riflemen. More than enough for a Mud & Blood force, and likely enough to try out a batch of other rules as well should I be so inclined.

We're spoilt for choice in 28mm Russian Civil War/Back of Beyond figures, really, both Copplestone and Brigade have ranges with lots of variety and quality sculpting.

Gripping Beast SAGA SV03 Beserkers.

Very disappointed. Excessive amounts of flash, blobby heads with almost no detail visible, one has a fur cape which is almost smooth. Would not have recognized these as GB figures compared to those I have from five or so years ago. Several separate weapons but all the hands are solid lumps.

Finally scraped away the flash, now getting stuck in with the dentist needle-point tool to try and enhance the faces and such... will then drill out the hands.
