Vietnam primarily, but they made over 100 000 of those and when the soviets stopped using them they passed them on to other pact countries, they'll work for anything from Cuba to Tanzania with a pitstop in Afghanistan

Well, quite a few things:

From Super Gibbon (traded for 5 old GW plastic beastmen):

-5 SuperFigs Katusha Rockets (can be used as high-end pulp villain henchmen, I think.

- 4 other SuperFigs, dunno the names

- 5 Scavengers (I think they may be old Copplestone figs from Grenadiers 'Future Warriors' range)

- 9 (!) Foundry Street Violence figs, including Snow White and 4 Dwarves  :D

I tel ya, pardner, doncha do no talking to that crazee monkee. Let ME do the talkin'!

Seriously, a VERY nice fella to do barterin' with! I owe him one.

I also went shopping with my eldest daughter (4½), and discovered, that Toys'r'us do no longer carry the Schleich Dinos      :x

BUT, they had PotC Ultimate Black Pearl Playset at way under ½ price. I bought it! Having just a week ago or so received LotHS, I could not resist....

And I went to the game store at purchased a Star Wars Miniatures AT-AT (they had no less than 3 on display of that 'Limited Ed.' bigature.....   :? )
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

it has been a banner week for me. On Saturday the latest Conquest releases (Frontiersmen B and French marines C&D) arrived and just yesterday my big box of Eureka goodness arrived containing a draft of reinforcements for the F&I highlanders in campaign dress I aquired a year ago along with 48 of the new F&I provincial troops. Half of these will be Pennsylvania militia and the other half will portray the 60th Royal American Regiment.  I'll need to build a fort for that militia to man now...

Once I get all of the Eureka troops painted I can game Grant's Hill and Bushy Run. I walk over the site of Grant's Hill every night on the way home from work and Bushy Run is about 45 minutes away. It's always fun to game something local!

A figure I'd been looking for after spotting it in my copy of Shieldwall:

Old Citadel preslotta, off ebay.

He's a bit small compared to my Foundry blokes but he'll join the looters nonetheless.

WK
So you finally got him, good.  Let me know when your minis arrive.

I just bought a box set of Warhammer Skinks and a few packs of Skinks with bows.

I got some ideas of a Weird War II game where a crippled Merchant Ship is able to beach the ship before it sinks on a small island and then the U-Boat with a small detachment of Marines decide to see what's in it before they sink it.  But unknown to all the island is populated by a strange species of sentient lizards and they love MEAT!  Weird War II gaming at it's finest.
