I finally got the Harlequin Doctor Who War Machines boxed set.  I've been looking for these for two years, after finding that the set I originally bought seems to have gone missing in my house moves ten years ago.
Back from the dead, almost.

All four sets of Frank's near future troopers. They are every bit as lovely in the...er...tin, as the pics imply. Sculpting is as sharp and detailed as Hasslefree, IMO.
Thanks for the minis and the great communication Frank!

Forum member Mason kindly sold me a couple of old Citadel figs. A dwarf with a crossbow and an old human fighter ("Falcon", top row, here:  http://www.solegends.com/citfight/citf2DOW.htm).

The dwarf is a cool figure, but I have been after a Falcon since I saw that ad in WD when I was about fourteen. Such a sneering, arrogant bastard of a figure... Love it.  :D

Eureka's brand new African market scene. Truly fantastic stuff from Alan Marsh. Big stand of rugs/blankets. Three seated vendors, one female and one on a base with blanket covered in trinkets, necklaces etc. Two boys playing football, another rolling a tyre. A father with a big sack on his  head with child in tow who is looking off at the other boys playing. Four assorted women and another small child opening a jar. With the exception of the tyre rolling kid and the two boys with the football, these could all be used for the past two hundred years or so.

I suspect the Plynkes of the world are seriously going to swoon when they see this one.

A Khador battlebox

Nice one! I've built a Khador plastic warjack and it's a great kit. Not the material though, very very hard plastic and not so easy to work.

The Sorscha model was all good and went together fine. The Jacks were covered in mould lines and that thin flaky stuff that goes around the edges. Not as bad as some finecast stuff though.
