Great purchases Chairface. I'm jealous as I should have been at Hotlead this year. There's no doubt I'll be there next year and looking forward to it.

What do you think about the alien Star Bar Patrons? They look like fun but I'd like to hear what they look like in person.

I think they're perfect for Fantastic Worlds (and the Mos Eisley Cantina). Most of them are butt ugly (in a mutant/alien way), and as most MegaMinis, they're on the small side (but being aliens, that's hardly an issue).

There's a band, and a 4-armed bouncer hiding a club (sic!) on his back - and some of the patrons are definitely waving weapons around...

Are they value for money? I you want weird-looking aliens to crowd a bar or city scene, yes. If you want hard-core hi-tech sci-fi, no.
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

UNIT's new ride, a Land Rover from S&S Models.

All resin, seven parts, top, body, 5 wheels.  Nice cast, a few bubbles here and there but nothing too bad.

I am stockpiling parts for a German Super Tank for Weird War gaming.
I just received the "Chassis" today in the form of a 1:35 Panther from ICM.

I'm still waiting on a Baneblade turret so I can start to get stuck in!

Can't quite tell from the angle but I think it maybe the maid with pistol not sure. Definately a bargain the John Bull and Sandwich Board man would set you back £10GBP plus postage from Foundry.

The woman is Constance Bowbridge sculpted by Nick Collier, the man with the rifle is Lieutenant Tobias and the wo/man with the sword and pistol is Faith Tobias who are twins sculpted by Shane Hoyle. They were the Wargames Illustrated subscription special from 2001/2002. They are secret agents of her Majety.
