I bought a bunch of (33) 3rd ed. Warhammer welfies to paint (some number of) by the end of January. These will go alongside some Black Cat pygmies and Golfag's Merc. Ogres (less Golfag himself) so I can pit them against a horde of grey, plastic undead and start actually playing some games for the first time in years. I'd love to just once play a game with fully painted armies, but alas, that would take me years.

Good lord  :o that’s an amazing piece but it must have cost you a fortune..

I always felt sorry for those guys. They had a pretty rough time of it.

I just picked up 2 packets of Reaper Bones "Giant Rats". This'll be an experiment to see how I like painting on these, though it'll likely be some time before I actually get around to painting them. (sigh)
from Mr.Vampire: "It's the paintjob that makes the miniature fight harder not the size."

Yeah, I think we all felt that at some point.

I really like the little ship with Asterix and Obelix in it too.  :)

It did cost more than I feel comfortable with spending, but not nearly as much as the listed value.

That's one way to justify it to yourself  ;)

Just received Professor Heisen, Doctor Dunkel, Lady Winston, Doctor Moreau and Professor Zed from the Secret Science range of Parroom from Brigade Games plus their Extraordinary Prussian officers.

All excellent and all arrived safely from across the pond.

All I have to do now is paint them to the same high standards as seen on this forum!!!   :o

Easier to say than to do.

Happy to hear you didn’t sell your company to pay them :)

Not yet. If I do sell up, you'll get the right of first refusal. ;)
