So usually I don't bother reporting the growth rate of my lead pile but I'll make a rare exception here. While spending time in Munich, I visited a couple of game, toy and model shops there. Most were quite typical. Railway shops had Faller, Noch, Heki etc. Gaming shops had GW. Everyone had German board games in German.

But then there was this place called Games-In on Dachauer Straße. Apparently they've been in business for 33 years or something. There was truly a formidable collection of stuff for all geekish needs, including boatloads of RPG books both used and new. And they had miniatures - Battletech, DSA, Enigma, RAFM, AD&D, Shadowrun, Thunderbolt Mountain, Rackham and many others which I've already forgot. Most of them were odds and ends with only a fraction of the range available, but they fit strangely well my needs. Somehow I managed to limit myself to this pile.

But the numerous offerings of railway shops, Christmas markets and other fanciful places managed to fill my luggage to the brim. Let's see if I'm able to reduce the pile even a tiny bit before Tactica...

I have to check them next time visiting Munich, sound s like a proper place for wargamers and this AD&D stuff is very rare and expensive in the meantime.

Bit of a score yesterday - wandered into a charity shop while bored, came out with a crate of LOTR minis, Orks from the Black Reach set and a few odds and ends of Tau, plus scenery, paints, putty and a great big bag of dice.

Most of the LOTR figs will be going up for trade or sale in the New Year as I don't really need them, as will the majority of Orks.   :D
