[The Dozing Dragon]

Bit of a score yesterday - wandered into a charity shop while bored, came out with a crate of LOTR minis, Orks from the Black Reach set and a few odds and ends of Tau, plus scenery, paints, putty and a great big bag of dice.

Most of the LOTR figs will be going up for trade or sale in the New Year as I don't really need them, as will the majority of Orks.   

Just post the pics to compound the jealousy please........I haven't had a charity shop hit in a long long time

That's the first one I've ever had.    There just doesn't seem to be the market for it round here.

No pics yet, but I think after cherry-picking what I want from it all, there are about 15 plastic Elves, the same of Men (Gondor?) and around 25-30 plastic orcs, which I think is the contents of one of the original battlegame boxes, plus a metal orc captain on a warg.

(I have decided to keep the metal Hobbits, Ringwraiths, Aragorn, Boromir, Gil-galad and Imrahil for myself)

There is also about a dozen or more Ork boyz from Black Reach, plus the three Deffkoptas, not all complete. Oh, and four or five plastic termagants as well.

I will be keeping the Tau that came with it though (10 fire warriors, 10 kroot, 1 drone, a stealth suit and a battle suit) as they are just the right number for my skirmish force fetish.

If anybody wants to make me an offer on the stuff I don't need, feel free. It'll be new year before anything goes in the post, mind.

Hmm.  He remembers those and totally ignores the Lead Adventure Mad Science set I gave him.  And the winged Gorilla from Eureka.

My Christmas present was rather more figure heavy than my birthday this year.  I ended up with the Mannikin Studios Arthur Rackham figures (quite a fair number).  Morland Studios "Kreimhild's Revenge" and "Fairy Queen Medb of the Sidhe", as well as their Roy Greenhilt Order of the Stick figure.  Also Odila the Swan Maiden and Elana.
