I've seen the second pack painted up, they look really good. Viking, if you read this, how about sending me a pic to post?

Big birthday purchase from Old Glory just arrived, explorers, tribesmen, chieftains and such for Darkest Africa lost tribes adventures...

Oooh! Did you get these two packs:

http://www.oldgloryminiatures.com/proddetail.asp?prod=LAT%2D12

What is the quality like? (I can probably wait a month to find out)

Five pounds of metal from Old Glory 25's, thanks to their big Cowboy sale last month! Over 100 figures, (138 actually), just over $1.00 each!  Mostly Old Glory, some Blue Moon, Crusader and West Wind.  Also a bunch of Pirates, Old Glory and Crusader and Blue Moon's 'Streets of Chicago' box.  Eclectic tastes, wot!  ::) Plus a free copy of 'Cowboy Wars' and a certain 'Fat Old Man' on horseback, who bears a passing likeness to a certain Oscar-winning Western star!
Now, since I just got my Income Tax refund, what do I 'need' next?  ;)

I'm so blonde! Forgot to say thanks to Alex publicly for Prof! A lovely kind gesture and very much appreciated.

Its a lovely figure and I can see him beside Biggles in some WW1/Whatever lead adventure!  8)
Best wishes,
Helen

Bought myself an Oger and a wizard for Mortheim last Friday, I´ve painted the wizard yesterday. He´s going to be a priest.

Got this lot of the Bazaar of Obscurities just the other day:

Can anyone tell me, if these are very old GW, or something else:

And who made these (they seem to be from the UK? - one of them is wearing a kilt, I think..):

The Bottom picutre are definately Foudnry Street violence range, at least the big lads are.

The guy with the pot on his head is he Necromunda or Babylons burning?

I can see the Mongoose Apes form the Judge Dredd game in the background

The guys in green are I think Necromunda

And it looks like you have a few mutants in their from Mongoose too or possibly the old GW Judge Dredd range

Yep, the painted Mongoose apes are a find - as I just bought the complete range of Gangs of Mega-City One (rules and figs) from Mongoose before they closed down their miniatures ranges...

And, yes, a Van Saar Necromunda gang (need to find a few heavies, otherwise I can just use them for Future Wars/Dead walk Again - style games).

The two painted and one unpainted 'survivors/z-hunters' have me puzzled. I KNOW, I've seen the guy with the pot on his head before, but I cannot remember where  ???

Can you post a bigger picture of the 3 unpainted minis on the right? The extreme right one looks a bit like a Klegg (I think that's the spelling), from the old GW Judge Dredd range.

These simply look to me like the three unpainted figures from the ape gang i.e. gorilla with crowbar, orangutan with sniper rifle & gorilla in dress with shotgun.

They are - and I have received answers for my questions, except for the figs in pic#2   :)
