(Mantic Deadzone Rebs faction set)

Got myself a box of these ...

For a moment, I thought you had received them in that state  lol

Nice figs, but are they made of 'real' plastic, or the dreaded 'restic/hard plastic' stuff?
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

Just got some Statuesque Miniatures Hong Kong Killer Fembots and a Mei-Lin Mayfair figure which are some great sculpts.

Well done to Andrew Rae for some nice miniatures.

I got home from my business trip today and waiting for me was a package from Empress, 44 Republican Militia, 4 Guardia Civilia and a pair of light mortars.

I've just spent a couple of hours cleaning up and sticking.

My Regulares will soon have an opponent to fight.

Eureka 16th century Portuguese Conquistadors:  the pike/pole-armed pack (7 very scruffy looking fellows); the sailors (8); arquebusiers (11); two of the  officer in half armor; standard bearer; rather ragged drummer; sword and dagger pack (4); sword and shield pack (4);  musket armed (4); pike/pole arm pack (7) slave/Quilombo infantry (4); Brazilian Indian with arquebus (1 - to be added to the Quilombos); two Spanish Conquistador cavalry with sword and shield; two mounted Spanish Conquistador arquebusiers; the Spanish Conquistador dog handler with four war dogs; and a cultist in robe (with book) to act as a monk.  They will be joining my other Eureka Spanish Conquistadors:  four cavalry; 4 musketmen; and a rather aggressive monk with sword and cross; and Wargames Foundry Spanish Conquistadors (two different packs sword and buckler; one pack arquebus) and the
Opposition will be provided by Wargames Foundry Swashbucklers (7 different packs; plus the little cannon) and Elizabethans (including 6 demilancers; 6 mtd command figures; two different command packs; 8 pike), and some of the SgtMajor Borderer figures (4 Border Horse; 10 infantry).
I also have two different packs of the Carribean Cimmarons which can be either more Quilombos or allies to Drake's men !

Haven't fully decided yet (this probably will be a long-term project for when I retire).  I thought that Ronin would make a good set (with a little tweaking) for 16th century skirmishes, given the different armor classes, arquebus rules (the teppo), etc.  Akso contemplating the following (with a few tweaks):
There is this group who used a modified version of lord of the rings/legends of the old west to game a "what if" campaign for landings by the Armada in England (just as usable for the Dutch campaigns)
http://www.spiritofthegame.org.uk/1588andallthat/about.htm

There is also Hot Trod and Red Hand.  Designed for 16th Century Anglo-Scottish Border Reivers, but with a little tinkering could easily be used for many other campaigns.

I use This Very Ground for my forrays into Brazil, it could work equally well for skirmishes elsewhere too

deadzone, so a whole heap of sci fi goodness.
all well cast apart from 1 enforcer head, but itc ame with a spare.only problem is finding the mold lines on the spiky buggers.
never trust a horse, they make a commitment to shoes that no animal should make.

A pack from Reaper - via Miniature Heroes - with some Elves for my fantasy project, and a couple of VSF minis, just because.

Unfortunately that's me spent up for a while...
