Today I received this thing of beauty and joy forever from HLBS:

Lovely, through and through. Clean casting.

Also a gun crew and shells for the above (slightly smaller than my BG and Cplst  Sikhs),  Great White North a sled driver and abucking mule with prospector.

Richard, being such a capital fellow, added two Austro-Hungarians. What a guy!

Got this comment onmy latest order Richard@HLBS

Quote
Dear Peder,

They are WW1 Austrians, anybody ordering WW1 guns get a couple of sample figures to give them an idea of what the WW1 figure we produce are like, as there are no pictures on the web-site.

All the best
Richard
HLBS

Awf'ly nice of him. Makes me think that letting an 600lbs angry gorilla throw his weight around in here now and then actually helps a bit. ;-)

Actually the 69th were the South Lincs Regt. They had quite an illustrious career and were involved in the defeat of the Imperial Guard during the final stages of Waterloo.

I don't think they or their successors would appreciate the "Felchers" nickname  :-I
