I received a free sample from Miniature Service Centre in the US. It’s a Trident Miniatures 40mm AWI British Infantrymen. I would care that much normally but this figure is event bigger and better that I expected! I wasn’t going to start an other project but after seeing this one, I’m not so sure!  ::)
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://tistaminis.com/

Even better, the web site (unfortunately in Thai) - http://www.thaikit.com .

Is there any chance that you could post any pics of the Thai houses?

I might try and persuade my wife to translate that as she's Thai . I've never noticed anything like that in the shops will have a look out over the next few weeks .
Thanks for bringing them to our attention.

I actually visited the factory/shop/house (arranged by phone from the hotel). The factory direct price was much lower than the wood carving/souvenir shop and if I'd had the dollars left I would have purchased many more. As it is 3 of them should do for my Chinese/Malay/Thai pirate village.

This weekend:

Bought from Cap'n Blood (at a bargain price):

(Does anyone know who makes the pirate gunners and the gent at the left? The pirates look very Foundry'ish, but I could not find them...?)

And bartered from Vikotnik:

A gift from Hammershield:

And a gift from Green Knight:

Ah! You got the Copplestone Future minis. I wondered where they went.

Myself, I had a parcel from Amazon waiting with NWF acrutements: goats, ravens, vultures, camel cadavres and a leopard

Yes, I think it was Green Knight, he had a Fabius Bile figure as well IIRC.

I bought this off him:

A Stygian venom-spawn from Chronopia. Took me ages to find it on the web, I had no idea what it was when I bought it but it looks so damn funky, a big snake/human/termite thing!

Also half of the new 40K box set from Dewbakuk. Feels like I'm 14 again, all those Space Marines.  ;D

The Pirates in the first photo are certainly Foundry but the gunners look like Old Glory figures… I’m not sure though.

Don't know about the first figure (it's quite dark) but Calimero is right about the rest.  They're all from Old Glory set OGP-07 - Pirate Artillery and Crew.  Overall, not a bad set.  I have it and most of the figures should paint up quite reasonably.

Yes, they're Old Glory - these were the best of a bag of 30. Same old story... sorry all you OG fans...
The figure on the left is from the West Wind Sleepy Hollow townsfolk pack...

Thank you!

I've just prepped and based the 2 FW chicas (on washers I got from you, too  lol )

The gent will make a nice civilian for pirate games - I have a boyservant holding a tray with two duelling pistols (Black Cat - not released, yet, I think) that should go nicely with him (he's obviously running for the pistols, not away(?)  ;)   )
