Just now I received more goodies from Fighting 15's [excellent service as always - highly recommended], i.e. Eureka VSF/Pax Limpopo miniatures:
2 rattler
10 prussians with rocket packs
10 queen's skywalkers
1 mechanics for VSF

AND:

1 off QUEEN VICTORIA herself [sculpted by Victoria Lamb]!

By the way it's a nice figure, very well sculpted, alas a little large for the actual size of the queen herself!
[where are my notes I need to order Her Scottish Bodyguards!]

I can't take those Zulu War British seriously. They painted that guy on the cover to look like Fat Freddy from The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers, and that's all I can see now.

Anyway.

I just got the first figures for my fantasy Celt project form Prince August - the Monarch on his stag, the Horseman, and the Swordsman champion. Really nice sculpts, (Kev White, I believe) and should fit nicely with Celtos and the old Harlequin stuff I'm getting second hand.

Result.  :D

Now you've given me an idea - you see, they come bareheaded, the pith helmets and/or glengarry caps are separate and go on top of the heads.... Now, some green stuff...  >:D  lol

I have created a monster...  ;D

And by coincidence, my first batch of second hand Harlequin Celts and assorted others arrived today from Svennn the DH Nut. Oh, they are nice....

And great service from Svennn as usual. Cheers mate!  :)

Just got all three sets of Josef's Tangrenbu Tong Wars minis.  Nice figures.  Now, all I have to do is build a section of Chinatown, mix a decent Chinese skin tone and work out a colour scheme for the clothing! Ancient Chinese, I can easily reference, but 'modern'? Any ideas?

A bag of pirate, a bag of apache, a handful of Mexican peon and a sprinkling of ACW figures from Dixons from a new FLGS that opened just recently. The owner said he was thinking of stocking Foundry stuff, which is good news postage wise.

Some Fomorians and Sidhe/Tuatha Dé Danaan from Svenn.

Jade mummies, hopping vampires, terror-cota warriors, chinese heroes/gods and zombie communists from John Jenkins.
He that trades Liberty for Security will soon find that he has neither.
