Westwind Road kill Policemen and detectives in flak vests, Musketeer not Blade and Big Kris and Pig Iron HMG and crew, all picked up at Warfare in Reading. No VSF or Horror purchases made on the day. Now that's unusual.... ;)

Pegasus 1:72? Or something more '28 mm'?

Pegasus AFAIK they don't do actual 28 mm ones but these will fit in nicely for odd ones in the jungle or plantation ones for a village crop.

Oh yes, I have a box of those, too. Just wanted to know if some bigger ones were available, now  :)

Don't think so but these are for mix & match, I want differing heights to match my palm trees which vary from 50mm/2" high to 150mm/6" high and have other greenery around as well. I think a few will finish up on CDs but most will be individually based on washers.

Good idea. Will have to remember that. Nice to have some shrubbery to 'fill in' the landscape...

Black Hat Chinese Vampire Hunters. Absolutely top class.  :-*

I have had a great idea for a mini project - Chinese Mordheim gangs, one undead, one Witch-hunters. Game play would be exactly the same, just cool alternative minis.

Need some zombies, a necromancer, some warriors and monks (or maybe warrior monks) now.

The fun just never stops!  lol

Sounds like a great idea, just imagine a Morheim style Chinese Town, pure Lead Porn ;D

While a ruined Chinese cityscape would be the dog's favourite chew toys, I fear it would be a bit beyond my poor terrain building skills.

Given the gangs I'm planning though, I thought an abandoned temple or cemetary on the edge of town would be cool. That way all I need is a temple (possibly ruined) some walls to enclose a graveyard, and maybe a couple of outlying houses, and general funerary clutter.

I need to give this a bit more thought, as if its a mini project I don't want it to get out of hand and end up with stacks of stuff. Not that that's likely to happen....  ::)

Might have to tweak the rules (new special rules to give it a more eastern flavour, maybe) a little, but on the whole it should play just like the original game.

Fancy it for next year's BLAM?  ;)

Definately something for BLAM 09. :) It would be a most original idea and a great looking game. Would you do some rules changes for Kung Fu and martial arts and eastern magic? ( I have never played Mordheim, so have no idea about the rules.)

Chinese buildings wouldn't  be too difficult to scratchbuild, (foamcore, polyfilla and balsa wood would be my preferred method) Matakishi made a very nice Chinese Temple for his Boxer rebellion game. Check out his Tea room for photos and tutorial. ;)

Cheers for that, is there anything Matakishi hasn't built?  lol

I've just mentioned a few ideas for special rules and stuff on this thread:

I haven't actually played Mordheim for about five years, but its a really easy system, and takes modification very well. I'll have to give it some thought.

Check out "Legend of the Seven Golden Vampires" for some inspiration. Hammer films at their 1970s wackiest... Dracula meets Bruce Lee! Hilarious, but it has a nice fight with the heroes in a deserted village attacked by the seven Vampires... ;) lol

You might find just about all you need here at Curteys Miniatures for extra figures and they do buildings as well.

Oh yeah, seen that. And Mr Vampire, Tsui Hark's Vampire Hunters, Chinese Ghost Story and about a dozen others. Jet Li's The Evil Cult is worth a watch too, but makes no sense at all.

Looks like its time to delve into the DVD collection again and refresh my memory. Oh the things I have to do for this hobby...
