Thanks for the kind comments.

For African skin tones I use a number of different combinations as I don't want them all to be the same tone.

Besides the Foundry African skin triads, I use Captain Blood's GW Rhinox Hide method, VMC German Camo Black, Reaper Dark Skin Triad. The one for the Princess is Liquitex Soft Body Burnt Umber/Burnt Sienna/Raw Sienna.

I always use pictorial references when painting African skin as the highlights are different to Caucasian skin.
Wargamers do it on a table.

That princess is quite something. Such a simple but beautifully evocative figure, and you’ve more than done her justice.
