Ah, the Invalides. What a museum!
And the glorious general led the advance
With a glorious swish of his sword and his lance
And a glorious clank of his tin-plated pants. - Dr. Seuss

Ah, the Invalides. What a museum!

It's fantastic!

Anyone with any interest in the Napoleonic period has got to go there at least one time in their life.

And all those models of Vauban fortresses, and and war the French were involved in, and
so close to Napoleons tomb. A definite MUST when in Paris.
