I usually play weird ww2 and pulp games, always solo, and I decided to make a blog with the games that I play.

I want this to be MY thread, and In this thread I want to share with you my pulp games, pictures, miniatures... And I will update it with every pulp game that I play.

My intention is to play Pulp Alley's perilous Island campaign, but using my own system (a mix of several ruleset, taking from each one what I like most, and adapting it to solo gaming)

I'll play several one shot pulp games before starting the campaign, because at this moment I'm playing a weird ww2 campaign, and I'll share these games in this thread...

First one is the scenario from Chaos in Cairo ruleset, and I want to play next one of the monthly scenarios of Pulp Alley.

This first scenario follow the adventures of the Carlyle expedition from the back alleys of Cairo to the burning sands of the desert...

This is the Carlyle expedition, with Roger Carlyle in the center of the group:

Fighting in the back alleys of cairo:

The burning sands around the mortuory chambers discovered by archeologist Smith:

And into the dark chambers full of perils...

If you like what you see and want to know more... Have a look at the full AAR (and a lot of pictures) in the blog:

https://thelonewarriorenglish.blogspot.com/2020/08/aar-pulp-chaos-in-cairo.html?m=1

Hope you like it and you enjoy it!!!!!

Next updates will be put in this thread...

Stay tuned...

Sounds like a fun thread! I look forward to reading it (and your blog). Where did that huge facade of the Egyptian temple come from?

Interesting, what are the counters for?
Is the tomb/chamber self made?

Mike Demana

Thanks a lot!!
Hope you like it!!!

The temple is a toy repurposed... And it is huge!! There are a few parts that I haven't show yet... But you will see them in next scenarios...

Interesting, what are the counters for?
Is the tomb/chamber self made?

The counters are negative modifiers for each miniature, each hit suffered is a - 1 modifier to any dice roll (except for monsters, the counters state how many life points/hits have suffered, but don't modify the dice rolls)

Hope you like the Reports!!
The tomb is a toy repurposed... A huge toy...

I update the thread with an AAR of the last game played.

A solo game using home made rules (mix of flying lead and .45 adventures) and a pulp alley story.

Follow the adventures of our heroes following the trail of a monster through the back alleys of the city...

Check the blog for a full AAR full of pictures and much more...

I'm starting a Solo Pulp Alley campaign, Perilous Island, and I'll show the games as I play them...

Lord Donovan Darrow, a well known archeologist, found something about a lost city buried under the sands of Egypt, and then, he dissapeared...

What did he found? Where is he? Is he still alive?

Follow the adventures of the Carlyle expedition as they travel from the plains of Algeria to the desert in Egypt looking for the dissapeared archeologist...

That is an interesting table. It almost looks like a giant photograph. Is it something you made?

A friend gave me the image to be printed on a pvc mat, it is very realistic, and makes the table more "real"...

I don't know where he took it from.

I used to have a felt mat, but this has been quite a good change

Third scenario of the solo Pulp Alley campaign "Perilous Island"...

Our heroes arrive to Greece fleeing from Algeria, looking for a close friend of the dissapeared archeologist, just to find him almost dead in a hospital...

Will our heroes get any clue to find the whereabouts of Lord Donovan Darrow?

Is it too late to find him alive?
