Really cool scratchbuild :o 8) :o

Nice tip about the blue-tac........ might have to give that a whirl!

Cheers Pop!

So once camo'd up I needed to wash it down and highlight so GW devan mud and a few other thinned washes and coats.

The tracks got a coat of black and then drybrushed up with successive metals, bronzes and greys.

The main body was lightly line-edged and drybrushed with a mixture of GW graveyard earth/Kommando khaki & bleached bone.

Finally the stowage and shells were blacked out then painted (blankets and ammon crated in greens, greys and browns (VJ range).

So all finished and packed off to Essex with me two weeks ago, it now has pride of place in my mate's timpo display:

Again just a bit of fun, loved doing it, good to discover a new technique re: bluetac and glad to help a mate out, who was very made up with his little Timpo Panzerjager!

Cheers

Though the exaggerated barrel would look good poking out of cover to take out that last sherman, you know the one...with the fuel leak that they can't get fixed, always at the back of the pack.... the straggler.

KABOOM!!!!!

No worries, I wouldn't eat your head over it lol. And someone's gotta shoot the straggler, so all's fair, love and war ;).

Nice idea with the Blu-Tac, will have to utilize that one when I get around to finding me an airbrush.

It was in place of an airbrush!   ;D The bluetac gives you that almost airbrushed camo finish.

Cheers.
