So I watched these two series.  Both are set in L.A. circa 1932-33.  Vert different stories, but some overlapping elements.  Both were well done.  BUT they both had some gaming potential.  The penny dreadful in particular had a riot and a police standoff, that turns violent.  Thee was also a Bund rally.  I could see real potential in a Zoot suit vs Bund fight.  Throw in some sailors, the police, and the land developers private detectives and you have a unique game.
