I wonder how they scale compared to other ranges? Historically Eureka's figures have tended to be on the smaller end of 28mm. So if they go the route of other companies by making their Japanese figures shorter than their other ranges, then these could be quite small.

In this assume I assume that they're the same height as their other figures. Which if mixed in with other manufacturer's ranges may actually be ideal.

What would be nice is if someone made some White Russians in Japanese gear...

I have them. No they aren’t wee figures. They match the Warlord ones fairly well in height but are much better sculpted.

Nice to know, thanks.

See, to me using these for Shanghai and Taierzhuang would be akin to fielding Normandy Germans for a 1939 Poland or 1940 France game. I've always been under the impression that the Japanese had stand-up collars and shoulder tabs for the 1937-39 period. In which case the only figures that would fit the bill are those from Reiver Castings.

I suppose that if those are the main isues Hang Tuah then the models could be modified. Of course that's not your point. The collar's specifically would require more work to resculpt by the end user - which may be beyond most. However, outwith the thread's title - they still could be acceptable as regular Japanese figures.

...And yes, someone please go convert their Japanese figures to be White Russians. :D

I have some and can confirm they match Warlord metal Japanese perfectly and are fantastic sculpts to paint.
