Franco British Invasion of China - 1860

Posted the second half of my re-fight of the battle of Palikao yesterday: http://wargaming4grownups.blogspot.com/2020/09/battle-of-palikao-part-ii.html. I put the first half over on the Far Eastern Board, but I thought that you Colonial types might have an interest too.

It went fairly close to the historical outcome, with Mongol cavalry throwing themselves to their doom against French rifle fire and grapeshot, whilst the British turned the Chinese flank.

Interesting game.  It's not often you get to see Mongol cavalry charging French Regulars.
