What do you use for the green tufts, Belisarius?

Are these just the forward-riding scouts? Can you share the rest of the host?

Thanks Keith and Batty . The tufts are sisal string , cut and glued into place then painted .

Thanks Keith. Having moved house, over a year ago , my son brought me some boxes which he had been storing for me . These were in amongst the boxes , and are  a pleasant surprise to me as I had almost forgotten them .
