Massive Darkness cockatrice. A nice sculpt,  but the plastic doesn't seem to have the same relief that metal or even resin would. I painted it like a big cockerel.

Thanks.

Next up is a Hellbeast from Heresy Miniatures that reminds me very much of a dog of terror from a popular 80s ghost hunting film.

I have a second one undercoated as you have to have two really.

It's an extremely nice figure to paint and depending on the version is actually up to 5 parts.

A Reaper stone golem next

The intention with this is to use it as a golem in 28mm and a stone giant in 10mm. I recently purchased some 10mm fantasy from the Black Crane here in the LAF, so that has kickstarter a whole new thought process!

Cool. Love stone elementals/golems/giants so easy to get painted and on the table. I like the hints of green you have given him.

I love the stone golem mini. I've used it a lot of different ways, including making him green and calling him the "Emerald Emir" for superhero gaming.
