The new Empress Miniatures 28mm BAOR figures redone as Falklands Paras. Head swap with the Empress beret heads, file the combat jacket buttons off, green stuff the hoods for windproofs and respirator pouches.

Thanks, I was thinking about chopping off some rifles from some other figures to go with them, but decided that was a step too far

Beautifully done.  Everything from of your treatment of DPM (is it my imagination, or have you actually varied the shades from garment to garment?), to the colour and texture of the SLR furniture and kidney-pouches... Totally spot-on and exactly how I remember it.

The redder-toned trousers remind me of my favourite 1970s-vintage 'moleskin' pair.
