Thanks for the kinds words.
Hami, brilliant to see the layout out on the table and being gamed on.  It's utterly stunning!
Yeah it was good to get it on the table and use it. I am hoping I can get the remaining buildings painted and finished.

There are still a few buildings I need to print to finish the village off.

I loved that.  It really portrayed the very personal nature of house-to-house fighting...

Brilliant stuff, it’s very rare that the buildings on a tabletop look lived in and cohesive rather than the plonked down bits of LOS blocking terrain they’re often used as. Very envious of your table.

I am trying to stay true to what it could have felt like fighting through these little villages.

I am going for a lived in village so your comment makes me happy and lets me know I am on the right track. I have designed benches and got some other 'scatter' terrain to make it more lived in, like the Cafe will have tables and chairs outside,

Excellent!  This is going to be a brilliant setup to game through.

Thank  you both, I am slowly getting my way through painting the buildings but will keep this post up to date as best I can.

Hamilton, what rules are you using?

I use Street Fighting (https://www.warlordgames.com/bolt-action-academy-street-fighting/) with a few house rules, It makes the games more realistic and fun to play.

Rue Currie Update.

I have managed to get my finger out and start painting the remaining buildings on Rue Currie, well one side of them. This is taking me longer than I though and I have a new found respect for those who do this sort of thing to a very high detail. These buildings are being painted to game ready, I know there are errors etc but they are for me to game on.

I have posted the Hotel already which is the end building joining this street to the high street.

This was one of my reference photos.

The building with the tunnel:

The taller building, I understand the colour of the bricks is more than likely incorrect but I need to add colour to a very plain coloured board where I can.

Ground floor, with this building I went for a feature wall rather than all paint or wallpaper.

First floor

Third / attic

After this taller building it seems like generic houses, as you can see there is a design error on the front of this house, but that had now been fixed for future prints.

Ground floor

First floor

I have damaged the wallpaper on purpose to show some of the brick work in the room with redish wallpaper and stairs inside.

They look excellent (my envy grows). - (whilst I think your paint jobs are fine) the advantage of getting something tabletop standard is that you can always go back later to make it pretty, all the while getting to play on a painted table. Keep up the good work!

They look fine to me, certainly good enough for government service.

This is true, once I improve my painting skills I can revisit them.

They look fine to me, certainly good enough for government service.
Thanks.

If anyone would like the wallpaper or rugs (they are on a word document) please let me know, I will share them.
