Six years later: More Valkeeri

I was asked to paint another commission of Hydra Miniatures Valkeeri after some LAF member had seen the old thread and was inspired a little bit: http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=68424.0

I don't want to resurrect that one and decided to start a new thread if you don't mind. Here are the current results. The customer wanted something different and had ideas of certain images on the backs of the capes in mind. After talking, sketching and negotiating a bit, we came to this:

This is admittedly one of the tiniest freehand paintings I did yet.
I will try to show more pictures with better lighting tonight.

Wow! Those capes are excellent. They make my heraldry attempts look like I'm painting with a mop. Great figures with a cracking paintjob to set them off.
