Managed to play a small game over Zoom today with my Celtic collection, pitting Conor Mac Nessa and the men of Ulster against the Connacht. Despite fairly even forces, Ferdiad Mac Daman led the Connacht to a mighty victory, slaying Conor in single combat. A Druid vs Druid challenge looked like a good idea but it ended quickly and brutally with the death of Cathbad the Druid - another blow for Ulster. Soon after, the Ulster men broke and ran.
Playing over Zoom isn’t quite the same but it’s the best thing under the circumstances, and it’s always great to catch up with old friends and get the Celts out of the loft. Figures are a mix of Alternative Armies, Foundry and Northstar amongst others. We used my own Midgard rules.
