Napoleonic Plastic Sets Mix
« on: December 10, 2020, 07:45:38 PM »
Hi,

Posted this question on FB but degenerated into dumb, sarcastic and absolutely useless answers.

What units can we build by mixing parts of the available plastic Napoleonic sets? I'm thinking SA wars of independence and later. Besides the plethora of Napoleonic units, that is. I've converted some for the 1st Carlist War and think other periods are also doable.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Post pics of your conversions, as I would be very interested to see what you have done.

I have done quite a few conversions of various Perry & Victrix plastics, but mostly keeping them in the same historical theme. Like transforming ACW marching figures into shouldered arms (before there was a box that covered this!); French Chasseurs into Chevau-Leger-Lanciers; 8th Army Brits into Aussie figs for the Pacific; etc etc.

So please do share your Carlist Wars work, as that would be interesting.  :)
