I played a game this afternoon and it threw up a couple of questions:
I feel like I had overspent on the warbands, at 300pts for 5/6 models each. Most had destiny 3+, and just seemed a bit hard to kill. Looking at the example lists the average destiny was about 4+ or 5+, so should I aim around there as the sweet spot? I played a pitch battle with people just wailing on each other, so maybe I should spice it up with a scenario?
Following on from that, if I want to play with just 5/6 per warband, what is a better points total to go with? The campaign rules give you 500 I think, which would give you very large warbands.
My other question relates to fire attacks. I had two characters hit by a fireball. Both made their destiny rolls fine. The rules state that they can either spend their entire next turn putting out the flames, or act normally and make a destiny roll at the end of the turn. My question is, can they still act within the current turn and, if so, do they need to make another destiny roll in the current turn again? Both were still to activate in the shooting phase before they were hit with the fireball.
