Cowboys vs. Aliens

I have a post on my blog for how to use the Timmee Toy Space Set for dexterity games using the High Noon rules, which are all ready designed for toys. Gives you the ability to do some Cowboys vs. Aliens games.  It has some good pictures of the plastic space guys themselves too.

However, that got me thinking if anyone has done any Cowboys vs. Aliens themed games themselves?  I am sure most of us have a few Sci-fi models, and if you are in this forum you have some Cowboy models.  Have you ever merged the two? 

I was thinking it could be a fun little mod for Dracula's America or Legends of the Old West.  Maybe the easiest one to incorporate aliens into would be Fistful of Lead? 

If you have tried it, I would love to hear more and see some pics!

I’ve got the aliens (CP Miniatures grey aliens) in the painting queue for just this purpose. I will start with Pulp Alley (easy to adapt to any setting) but was also thinking of Dracula’s America - but not played them yet.

I’ve got loads of different aliens I could use.  Xenomorphs might even work.  And I specifically bought 15mm CP Models cowboys with the hope of doing a Cowboys vs aliens game someday.

Aside from buying the figures for the cowboys, and buying some Kibri plastic HO scale Old West buildings, I haven’t really taken the idea any further.

Actually it was the first post on my blog when I started it in 2008:

It was played thirteen years ago with the Blood&Swash rules by Buck Surdu, worked well and was big fun. The aliens were the xenomophs from the movies by WOTC. We tweaked the rules a little bit and added a rule for acidic blood.
