Those M16s need their barrels trimmed by a couple of mm. If anyone says it’s some sort of technical mould requirement, I’d say… bollocks.

That said the figures don’t look bad. I can see myself getting a box for conversions and spare parts.

They do tend to draw the eye somewhat...

I'm sure I'll pick up a box each of the USMC and the VC.  Wanna see what the set looks like in person...

Just got my pdf of Wargames, Soldiers, and Strategy (#118).  there's an ad for these chaps.  The blurb that accompanies the box art says it includes M16s, M60s, M79s, M203s, M14s, LAWs, and Remington 870s.  Doesn't say how many of each, though...

Will get a box each, too. Just to see what they are like and how they fit in with the other avalable lines.

I'm only aware of the ad in the pdf pf the next issue of WS&S.  One might assume, if one has faith in such things, that they will be released by the time the print edition of that issue comes out in the next few weeks.

Other that that, Rubicon has been relatively quiet about them.

I have a little insider knowledge here as I have been in contact with them.
There have been Covid lockdowns which stopped them shipping product including samples for magazines to review.
I am due to receive some sample sprues and I know that they have been sent in the past few days.

I work in purchasing and it is very difficult to give reliable dates for goods arrival at the moment.
I suspect that the production of the first batches is ready and possibly even shipped.
It should take about six weeks for a container from Hong Kong to arrive in UK, but it could take a bit longer.

Once they have a date for the goods arrival, they will be able to make an announcement.
My guess is that these will be available in UK and USA in March.

Good work Mick.
It's good that we infiltrated a man on the inside  ;)
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.
