WizKids Papercraft : 3 buildings for $26 on MM
« on: January 29, 2021, 11:40:54 PM »
Heads up for anyone too lazy to DIY. WK's Icewind Dale papercraft buildings has a $26 3-building set on MM. Buildings are larger than I thought. Lodge is $14. Bigger, but dunno if it would be more useful.

fwiw, The Russian Clever Paper and Battle Systems sets are other good options, but I'm hesitant at 25mm, and don't want to spend much money on several buildings. Once I'm dropping $100+ on terrain, I'm looking at Dungeons and Laser's upcoming village KS (plastic modular terrain, unpainted).

Can't find any assembled WK building images, just WK renders, so look at the videos for appearance and sense of scale.

From what I'd heard about the papercraft buildings is that while they look good, they aren't ones you want for games like Frostgrave or the like. They aren't easy to access the interiors, requiring disassembly to access them despite them being made with interior details, and the tabs wear out relatively easily.
