It would be my first time but it sounds fun - definitely interested other time commitments permitting

Seems like we have enough interest to set things in motion. I’ll make a rough plan and discuss with the moderators.

It would be good to have a few more theme suggestions.

What we have so far is just defences/fortifications.

Take a look at this suggestion page.

I'd be totally up for it again.

The suggestions page is 'blocked', well at least to me.

How about:-
A bridge,  A landing pad,  Temporary shelter or Something that has been dug up?

TBH a lot of what is on the list doesn’t grab me, so I’m just offering up my personal top three, as it were, in no particular order:

Defences/fortifications
Difficult terrain, broken ground, obstructions
Buildings

 :)

Great!

Personally "Buildings" is a bit too open. I would like to narrow it down to "trading post" or "temple" (as in church or shrine to the Emperor etc) or something like that.

I like difficult terrain. It is a very common feature in scenarios and game boards and can be a lot of different things. The challenge would be to make something original yet practical. I mean, how do you make difficult terrain while still possible to place a miniature on. I think this is my favorite suggestion so far.

Difficult terrain was the one I took for the list  :D

And yes, it is challenging while offering scope for variety.

I like "defences".
The laws of probability do not apply to my dice in wargames or to my finesses in bridge.
