Post Apocalyptic Bikers (picture heavy)
« on: September 03, 2009, 10:38:24 PM »
Wasteland bikers are free spirited individuals who live a nomadic existence roaming across the Atomic Wastelands. They travel on their powerful motorcycles, sometimes alone, sometimes in small groups. Bikers ride from the ruins of one town to the next, searching for fuel and spare parts so that they can ride on to the next town and search for fuel and spare parts. Bikers value their freedom (to ride from town to town...) and their bikes above all else.

The Brown Coat Gang!! 10 members total.

1 Gramps - the leader.

2 Skunk - not just because of the hairdoo - but for his fragrance bursts of flatulence around the campfire.

3 Snipe - 'cause he can shoot the turd off a gnat's ass at a 1000 meters with that sniper rifle on his back.

4 Wildthing - toting an experimental military blaster on his back.

5 Carrot - the wild ass hairdoo.

6 Chainsaw - his favorite weapon.

7 Jesus - the medic/healer/miracle worker of doctoring of the gang.

8 Fritz - nicknamed 'cause of his old German helmet.

9 Queball - 2nd in command.

10 Scream - he screams a lot.

As you can see the bikes have seen better days. Rust & dust & wear take their toll on the machines.

They've recently raided an old National Guard Armory and made off with a stash of guns, ammo & petrol.

There is a little hostility between Carrot & Scream. Carrot used his "assrag"* to filter some of Scream's coffee.

*Assrag - a bandanna that the bikers used to wipe their hind quarters after taking a poop.

Nicely done I like the stowage. I do wish they had done dismounted versions of these

Nice! I like the miniatures, but the fluff accompanying them makes it really work.

Very nice indeed! I like the extra stowage and weapons you added. I still have to paint my Westwind bikers. As for dismounted versions, if you can get an extra set of heads just giving a model on foot the same head can go a long way into making them look like the same character.

Now do the bases ;)
Let me hear the battle cry
Calling on the wind
Let me see the banners fly
Before the storm begins

Now do the bases

I'm still thinking about that. Usually, on my miniatures on foot, I cover the base in textured sand or forest green grass stuff because it pretty well matches up with the forest/swamp table & the desert/ruined urban table. I guess I'm going to go the desert/ruined urban route.

I was just too eager to show them off.  :?

I'm on it.  ;)
