Though wasn't John Hawkwood from a previous century???

He was slightly earlier, but a little artist licence allows me to represent him in the early part of the Italian Wars.

Wow!

Missed several of the recent updates - I particularly like the double pike blocks - but so many great looking units

Two beautiful forces Gareth  :-*  I reckon though, those Frenchies need some more foot and horse to balance it up a little  ;)

Lord Raglan a gamer after my own heart.
For my Italian wars extravaganza we have "Talhoffer's" ficticious son as a rival weaponsmith to Da Vinci.

Spanish Rodeleros, colloquially known as "Sword and Buckler Men", were Spanish troops in the early 16th century, equipped with shields known as rodela and steel swords. Originally conceived as an Italian attempt to revive the legionary swordsman.

Nice! You painted them up well.
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Very nice paint job.
They do look, for me,  too evenly spaced for poorer quality troops.
Their Sgt. Major would be proud of them. :)
