Bits and pieces for a larger project.
« on: 27 March 2021, 12:29:37 PM »
As I have a larger project that I am working on I will post some of the individual elements here.  First is the homage to the players handbook from Otherworld Miniatures.

I am quite happy with how the coals came out.

There are also two Braisers from Midlam Miniatures.

Hope you like.

Great work! Such a brilliant sculpt for nostalgia and you have done it justice.

Your interpretation of the coals is brilliant! It is like I am looking at the real thing. :o

Agreed; that's one piece of fine brushwork I'm going to try and emulate!  :-*

The rest is also pretty cool; I love the statue. It's based on the artwork on the Lost and the Damned, right? (or the other one ;) ).

And the faded tats on the barbarian are well done too...

Thanks for the replies all.  I can't take credit for coming up with the technique.  Found it on the Hirst arts site yonks ago and never tried it.  I just used the same technique with larger chunks of kitty litter.
