Now that the BSC has finished, I can add a few more photos with some paint splashed on.
An aerial shot before winter arrives. Shows the pathways through the detritus, where figures can be placed.
This is pre-gore...I used TCR..Tamiya Clear Red with a bit of black mixed in. Tried not to overdo the gore as I figured that most would seep into the ground, so no rivers of blood...sorry

“winter is coming”

This was the setup for the final photo...I’m not a great photographer, and all I’ve got is a battered old iPhone, so the pictures were quite tricky tbh. Normally I’d obviously focus upon the figures, and the terrain would be a comforting blur in the background, but given it’s a terrain competition, the roles were reversed its time.
Game of Thrones fans will hopefully recognise the picture as a homage to the “Battle of the Bastards”... IMHO the best battle scene of GoT, and one of the most gritty I can recall viewing on TV/in a film.
For non-GoT fans, the hero and his followers have been partially surrounded, and pressed back against a wall of corpses...as some try to escape the approaching wall of spears they try to find a way through the corpses, only to be attacked by more of the enemy. To get the right feel, I used something like 200-250 figures
