A good reference is this book:

https://www.amazon.com/Tanks-Winter-War-Operations-Scandinavia/dp/9197589527

Written by a Russian, it goes through each and every tank unit of the Winter War giving deployment dates, operational strengths and some history of their actions.

Looks to be a very good book, thanks for the recommendation. So no T35s in the Winter War then?

So no :)

The book is pretty good but in translation the pictures have really suffered, being cropped in all the wrong places. There are some new mistakes in the tables too, for example the only unit using the BT-7A in the Winter War being shown as having ordinary BT-7 tanks, so I cross-reference with the Swedish and Russian editions of the same book. Still, it's a great reference work for wargaming.
