Very characterful gardening!  Gardens really set off a model I think and add a sense of realism to the table.   Too many houses usually get plonked in the middle of a field with no rhyme or reason……these are great!

Great home and Volunteers.
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

They're excellent, the sort of thing that railway modellers would lose their shit it, and they like detail!

Excellent stuff old chum.

Those Surrey gardens juxtaposed against the battlefield will look great.

Any thoughts on putting together a London Defence Scheme fort?
Don't!

Yes, was up round the Box Hill fort a few weeks ago and will probably do something similar but on a more compact scale. I've started a couple of bunker style magazines that will be on separate bases and I think I'll do a row of cottages as well to go with it but they can be used separately as normal workers cottages (top left in the below image).

Look forward to seeing that.

I can see where you're coming from with making it compact. I'm thinking it'll dominate the battlefield otherwise.

I used to visit Box Hill Fort quite frequently and thought about building it. 20 years on you'll beat me to it  lol
