The Roadside Shrines I've seen are usually  on some crazy steep winding raod and there because of a fatality
On the lookout for 10mm Magister Militum Fantasy figures, halflings and woodelves in particular

Not all soldiers leave the zone. Some are dead, others would wish they were dead (if they still had human emotions).
These zombie soldiers still clutch their now useless weapons. They also atill wear military body armour, which should make killing them a bit more of a challenge!

The figures are Copplestone Castings zombie troopers. Heads are WW2 Soviet heads from Westwind, with the gas mask filters removed.

Nice touch about no filters on the end of the gas mask hoses.  Sad, forlorn detail. Love it.
