Hello everybody,

I am right now doing a small project around the peninsular campaign and need some flags for my perry british (https://www.perry-miniatures.com/product/bh1-plastic-british-napoleonic-line-infantry-box-set-36-line-infantry-4-riflemen/). I ordered the flags from vitrix that I thought should be compatible (https://www.victrixlimited.com/collections/28mm-napoleonics/products/british-napoleonic-a4-flag-sheet-waterloo-2).
They arrived today and I noticed two things:

1) They are from Waterloo and I did not see that before ordering them :(

2) They are too big for my two standard-bearers :(

Do you have a recommendation where I could get matching flags for my miniatures? I do not have any preference regarding the regiment.
Thanks in advance!  :D

Cheers,
Advario

One possibility: Vaubanner http://vaubanner.blogspot.com/p/28mm-napoleonic-wars.html

Flags for the Peninsular War should be the same as for Waterloo. Not all regiments saw service at both.
And the glorious general led the advance
With a glorious swish of his sword and his lance
And a glorious clank of his tin-plated pants. - Dr. Seuss

GMB would be my go-to place for 28mm Napoleonic flags, Maverick Models for pretty much anything else. The advantage of Maverick is that they'll let you scale the flag exactly the way you want. You order the flags, they e-mail you and ask for exact dimensions, you let them know and they print'em.

Recently I learned about Adolfo Ramos Flags, which seem to be very good: [url]http://flags.adolforamos.com/index.php[url]

Just out of curiosity - in what way are the Victrix flags 'too big' for your perrys figures? Too long for the white metal flagpoles the perrys supply with their figures?

Thanks a lot for the replies!  :-*

GMB seems like the way to go for me, because I am in Germany and Canada is a bit farther away.

I attached a size comparison of the flags. The are just too long for the plastic flagpoles that are provided with the set :(

Ah, okay. I usually replace the plastic flag poles with wire ones. I trust those more. But GMB should work just nice.

Which wire poles are you using? I am still searching for poles/spears that have the correct thickness for me.

I also strongly recommend replacing the plastic rods. I use North Star wire spears I got via Miniaturicum.

GMB are excellent flags. Adolfo Ramos are just as nice, offer different scales and are in Spain. They even offer fully mounted versions which I used for my TYW project. They cost a bit more but spare you some work.
