The Price of Crowns Kickstarter
« on: 03 August 2021, 04:03:43 PM »
Hi guys,

At the beginning of the year I started to sculpt the army of the Kingdom of Württemberg as a kind of lockdown project. Meanwhile I have a whole range together and want to release the miniatures through Kickstarter!
The miniatures will be available in high quality white metal as well as STL files for 3D printing at home.
The uniforms cover the period from 1806 - 1812.

Here´s the link to Kickstarter:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/pianowargames/the-price-of-crowns?ref=project_build

I have put a lot of time and love into the range, I hope you like the miniatures!

I would really appreciate your support on this project, feel free to share it with your hobby friends so we can unlock some of those stretch goals!:)

I'm so excited to finally be releasing miniatures myself now that I've been in the hobby for nearly 12 years!

All the best
Lucas

Good luck Lucas!
What could be cooler than Prince Friedrich Wilhem and dog? Let me think, maybe just maybe tattered/campaign look Jägers, Line and Light, I digress.
I am in and looking forward to its success and much more of the same.

This isn't my period at all, but I just had to say that these look really, really good!!!!
Very impressive indeed, and even more so to see them coming from a new company, sculpted by someone young. Those pictures are very good as well, very professional, and go a long way in selling them - they honestly look like something from Perry Miniatures, which is a good thing.

I wish you all the best, and if this is a success (which I'm sure it will be}, I hope you have plans for lots more historical ranges!!!!

Great effort, and obviously a hit with people. :) Even though it’s not for me, I can only echo the other comments: brilliant sculpts, not the least helped by a very professional presentation. Will spread the word to people with an interest in Napoleonics.
Well done so far & best of luck for your company.

You do very, very nice work.

And a glorious clank of his tin-plated pants. - Dr. Seuss

Awesome looking figures! Some very nice sculpting skill Lucas. I cannot believe that you did this as a 'practice project'! Amazing!

Sadly 28mm is not my scale. We play 6mm Napoleonics up here at the seaside. I saw that you have a 15mm print already, any idea how they look at smaller scales? The idea of 3D printing our own models is fast catching on, but currently the lead piles are full! But will keep an eye on what you are producing and hopefully look to back a future project or two.
Have you started to look at the Cavalry? And what are your future plans? You mention Bavarians in your KS info. ;)

Hope to see you with your minis at a Tactica in the near future!!
