Any Infinity House Rules Revising LoS and Cover?
« on: August 13, 2021, 01:42:06 PM »
Infinity uses a very basic LoS/Cover system -- a target either has partial cover or not. This means a wall that is lower than a model's knees is treated the same as a wall that comes up to the model's neck.

Furthermore, the target model has to be in base contact with the terrain item to get cover. So in the case above if the target model is not touching the wall, there is no obstruction.

Are there any revised Infinity rules for this, either official or house rules?

Thanks

There has been no official revision for this- although the cover system for infinity HAS been revised since 2nd ed/3rd ed (in company with the rules for template weapons interacting with cover).
In N2/N3, cover was 1/3 of the model or silhouette required in order to get cover.  They have removed that 1/3 stipulation in n4.
